Our ever-popular book club holidays each have their own theme, so you’ll get to pick your preferred genre: classic, crime and thriller, Gothic, and more. You’ll also enjoy an excursion connected with the selected book or author – all within easy reach of our characterful country houses.
Creative writing holidays
These breaks are perfect for both complete beginners and budding authors looking to build on their skills, style, and confidence. Based at selected country houses, you’ll enjoy a mix of group writing workshops and a one-to-one session with a published author followed by guided afternoon walks alongside an HF Holidays Leader. Alternatively, you can choose to skip the walks and spend more time focusing on your creative writing, taking inspiration from our stunning coast and countryside locations.
Relax at our country houses
You’ll be staying at one of our characterful UK country houses, all of which are cherished for their one-of-a-kind charm and sense of warmth.
